I am black and orange, with shades of powder blue,
The colour of rainbows and the sun's golden hue.

I am Monarch born and regally I roam
The still and sun-warmed air, to view my garden home.

I live with the crocus where the sweet-grass grows,
I frolic by the fuschia, the violet and the rose.

I am the calming touch to every summer scene,
Flitting and fluttering, silent and serene.
